a procession of citizens carrying items from the Israel museum's collection throughout the museum grounds. In an artistic and symbolic ceremony, accompanied by  live music, the procession invites the audience to experience a direct connection between person, object, and spirit; to re-establish the bond between the public and the collection, between the museum and its audience.

The procession participants are volunteers, young and old, children and parents, religious and secular. Some have never visited the museum before, alongside veteran artists, students of arts  and long-time members. During the work process, the participants met with the curators responsible for items they carry. In joint study sessions about the works, each participant found a personal and emotional connection to the item they are carrying in the procession. The choreography of the procession was designed by mapping traditions of historical and contemporary processions in Israel and around the world, while observing the emotional connection between a person and cultural or sacred symbols, and taking responsibility for a shared heritage and ideas.

The procession was created for the 60th birthday events of Israel Museum June 2025
